From having a large library of songs spanning many different types of genres of music in DJ form, but also on the video side of it. We have amassed a large catalog of videos to dazzle your guests with eye candy of the videos on the screens, turning us into a Video DJ. We can bring portable TV screens, or hook up to existing TVs in your local business. Also offering intelligent lights to your dance floor where possible, the limitations are left up to you!

Shooting Star Entertainment is your Traverse City Area Karaoke DJ that rocks the city and beyond! We have several different venues that have booked us inside the Traverse City area for DJ, Karaoke, & Trivia shows during the week. You can check our bar schedule in the links above to come out and see us live. With up to 4 mics your guests can rock out solo, as a duo, or as a sing-along group. Karaoke is a fantastic and fun addition to your Bar, Restaurant, or place of business.
With us as your Karaoke DJ host, we will keep the excitement rolling by preparing the songs, organizing the singers, and encouraging you and your guests to participate. We are always good at being just to people and giving everyone their fair chance to sing in a rotation, and not skipping over certain singers for other singers. We don't play favorites, as everyone is treated equally at our shows.
Karaoke is great for guests of all ages. The song lyrics scroll across the TV screen while your quests sing to the music of their favorite band or artist. We bring the speakers, mics, songs, a TV monitor with on-screen lyrics, and possibly additional monitors for your guest to follow along with the current singer or singers!

Our karaoke consists of over 450,000 karaoke songs old and new from Top 40, R&B, Rock, Standards, Country, Hip-hop, Spanish, Oldies, Motown, and more! We keep our Karaoke collection up to date with all the newest and latest songs out! To be put bluntly, if it is made for Karaoke we have it!

We also believe on a one on one relationship with your guests. We just don't sit behind the DJ booth the entire night, we move around and interact with guests. Letting them feel comfortable, we like to create a personal relationship with your guests. We want them coming back week after week to your venue and having a great time with their friends and family! Be it for dancing on a DJ night, singing on a Karaoke, or playing trivia. we are in the business of trying to fill your venue with paying customers to earn you a profit!
